Rivals on the water for years, multiple Olympians and sailing world champions Darren Bundock and Carolijn Brouwer have joined forces in a new business venture set to create waves for a new generation of sailors. The long-term goal of the pair is to establish a circuit for the best young sailors in the world complete with professional teams, professional racing, professional coaching and professional media coverage.
Australian Bundock along with Brouwer, who represented both Belgium and The Netherlands in the international arena, will invest their years of experience at the forefront of multihull sailing and racing to make the venture successful.
"We love sailing and want everyone else to love it as much as we do and the best way to do that is to find a class of boat that is attractive to sailors due to its high-performance and speed but is also media and spectator friendly," Brouwer said. "And we believe we have done that with the C2 Formula 18 and the Viper F16."
Two-time Olympic silver medallist Bundock and Female multiple world champion and round-the-world sailor Brouwer have formed 2B Sailing to distribute in Europe the C2 Formula 18 and the Viper F16 _ two multihulls set to take European waters by storm and given the stamp of approval by two of the best multihull sailors on the planet.
Bundock and Brouwer, the two B's, will bring to the venture the dedication, attention to detail and passion that helped them become two of the best and most recognised Olympic sailors in the world and will also act as dealers in The Netherlands and Belgium.

The People Behind 2B Sailing
Darren Bundock
A multiple Olympic medallist and world champion, Darren Bundock’s name is synonymous with sailing success with his name inscribed on every major catamaran sailing trophy. An Australian who is based in Europe for six months of the year. Darren has raced at three Olympic Games and collected a staggering 12 world titles, six European championships and three prestigious Australian Sailor of the Year awards.
He is well known as one of the most professional sailors on and off the water and is renown for his attention to detail and media savvy in promoting the sport. Darren left a highly successful career in IT to pursue his Olympic dream and was rewarded with a silver medal at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and another silver at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
Regarded as one of the best and most respected multihull skippers in the world, Darren has won a multitude of championship titles around the world and is regarded as one of Australia’s most successful sailors of all time.
Carolijn Brouwer
A multiple Olympian, world champion and ISAF World Sailor of the Year, Carolijn is an internationally renown and respected sailor. She has since spent years travelling the world as a top Olympic class sailor and yachtswoman and has become a role model and inspiration for young men and women alike. Carolijn splits her time between bases in Australia and The Netherlands and as a result of her years of travelling, racing and servicing sponsors is multi-lingual, speaking Dutch, English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and German.
Carolijn’s sailing resume is impressive and includes three Olympic Games, a Volvo round the world race, an IYRU World Youth title, multiple world and European titles in the Laser Radial and Europe dinghy classes and a world silver in the Tornado catamarans.
In 1998 she claimed the most coverted and prestigious award in her sport when crowned ISAF World Sailor of the Year.
Carolijn is the only international sailor to have been to three Olympic Games in three different classes _ Sydney 2000 Olympics (470 dinghy, Holland), Athens 2004 Olympics (Europe dinghy, Holland) and Beijing 2008 Olympics (Tornado catamaran, Belgian).
She is also one of only a select band of women who have contested _ and completed _ the gruelling Volvo round the world race as part of the all-female crew aboard Amer Sports Too/Nautor Challenge and the only female skipper in the Tornado catamaran class at the Beijing Olympics.
A multihull convert, Carolijn recently skippered one of the ultra-fast Extreme 40 racing machines, the Dutch entry Holmatro.
